1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the M2 Protocol website, platform, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Not be located in a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency transactions are prohibited
  • Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • Not be on any sanctions list or prohibited persons list

3. Token Sale and Presale

3.1 Participation

Participation in the M2 token presale is subject to:

  • Minimum contribution: $100 USD in USDC
  • Maximum contribution: $50,000 USD in USDC per wallet
  • Acceptance of payment only in USDC on Avalanche C-Chain
  • Compliance with KYC/AML requirements if applicable

3.2 No Guarantee

Participation in the token sale does not guarantee any future value, utility, or return on investment. Cryptocurrency investments carry significant risk, and you may lose all of your invested capital.

3.3 Vesting Schedule

Tokens purchased during the presale are subject to a vesting schedule: 25% unlock at TGE (Token Generation Event), with the remaining 75% vesting linearly over 6 months. You acknowledge and accept this vesting schedule.

4. Risks and Disclaimers

Investment Risks

You acknowledge and accept the following risks:

  • Volatility: Cryptocurrency prices can be extremely volatile
  • Loss of Capital: You may lose your entire investment
  • Regulatory Risk: Regulatory changes may affect the token's value or legality
  • Technology Risk: Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities
  • Market Risk: Lack of liquidity may prevent you from selling tokens
  • Security Risk: Your wallet may be compromised or hacked

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys
  • All transactions made from your wallet address
  • Verifying all transaction details before confirming
  • Compliance with tax obligations in your jurisdiction
  • Understanding the risks of cryptocurrency investments
  • Ensuring you are legally permitted to participate

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal purpose
  • Engage in market manipulation or fraud
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use bots or automated systems to interact with our platform
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent contribution limits
  • Engage in money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on our platform are owned by M2 Protocol or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. No Refunds

All token purchases are final and non-refundable. Once you confirm a transaction on the blockchain, it cannot be reversed. Ensure you understand the terms before participating.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, M2 Protocol and its team members, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of profits, or loss of data.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless M2 Protocol, its team, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services such as wallet providers (MetaMask), blockchain networks (Avalanche), and exchanges. We are not responsible for the functionality, security, or availability of these third-party services.

12. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
